BIODoing business as "the Great Cover Up", Robert and Eileen Korjenek have been providing quality service to their customers since 1977. Their work has been featured in Sunset Books "Slipcovers and Bedspreads", Home Style magazine, and national magazines. Their work has also been seen on national television and The Moscone Center in San Francisco.
During this time their 2 sons grew up and their oldest son got married, and is now living in WA. with his children and new wife. Their youngest son was involved in an auto accident in 1995, which resulted in his needing full time care. He continues to live with them in their home in Gilroy. Though they have faced many trials, through the years, in business and in their personal lives they continue to strive to bring quality products and service to the Bay Area. "We specialize in custom fabric slipcovers, but offer many other home decorating services." says Eileen. Robert will come out to your home or office and begin the process of creating a one of a kind slipcover, in the style that suits your needs and wants. The pinned together slipcover is then brought back to the workroom, where the cutting is completed. It is then expertly sewn together. Robert will come back out one more time, and fit your completed cover on to your furniture. Eileen, is the drapery designer and also fabricator on many of these projects. She will come to your home or office and with her digital camera and laptop computer she can create a virtual window treatment, complete with fabric, before you spend a cent on fabric and labor. This program will also help design a floor plan that’s right for you and your room.

Welcome to the Great Cover Up. So glad you dropped in. 
Starting out in a single car garage, using a ping-pong table to cut the fabric on and sewing with an old industrial Singer sewing machine, they expanded to a retail showroom in Los Gatos where they employed 3 seamstresses and a full time upholsterer. After the 1989 earthquake they decided to move their business closer to home in Morgan Hill. "That really wasn't the best move we made, but we were closer to our children which was more important." The economy forced them back into working from their home. They continue to work from their home-based business now in Gilroy.
